Background Information

As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Falender completed four years of dental school followed by four additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. Dr. Falender manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. He practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery including wisdom tooth removal. Dr. Falender can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and performs a full range of dental implant procedures. Most patients can be treated within our state of the art office setting with a variety of anesthesia options. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.

Our surgical staff is experienced and trained to respond to any possible office emergencies. All of our staff members are certified in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and are re-certified yearly. Dr. Falender and his staff are certified for administration of outpatient anesthesia and sedation by Indiana’s Board of Dental Examiners.

Our Patient Care Team

Our Treatment Coordinators will assist you with appointment scheduling and insurance coverage, as well as reviewing preoperative and postoperative instructions. They are ready to answer your questions regarding appointment preparation, office policies, and coordination of care with your regular restorative dentist.

Our Surgical Care Coordinators will make you comfortable before, during, and after your office visits. They will review information important to you before and after your surgical visit and are happy to answer any questions about your office visits.

Our Insurance Coordinators will help you with an estimation and explanation of your dental and medical insurance coverage.
